I fabricated a piece of aluminum about 1/8" thick. The measurements that I went with were 1 1/2" then bend a 90 degree over 7/8", then back down 2 1/4", back out 1 1/2", and then down 7". The length of the piece is 6" front to back. We put glued leather on the inner side of the bracket where it goes over the chrome fender side piece to protect the chrome. If you don't use leather, or something, to protect the chrome then you will have to tighten up the measurement for the piece going over the chrome fender trim. It should miss the bolts on the inner side that hold it to the fender. I placed the bracket on and eyed the shock angle and cut that area off and made sure that it would clear the shock alright. You can secure them in several ways. We used plastic coated cables over the fenders that are inconspicuous. The brackets you can run a scress just underneath the chrome fender trim to keep them from popping out. My wifes brackets on hers are pretty snug. If you have trouble figuring this thing out send me your address and I will draw it up and send it to you. Good Luck!
